You are absolutely right that security is the biggest factor when deciding to engage in this kind of business. It’s the same reason why I seldom send money though this route, it’s hard to be carrying big amount on the street. You don’t know who are in constant look out of you. But this is a great opportunity that needs to be explored.

its strange how some lanshop operators charge 1.00 or .50c per page on b/w printing & 2.50/page on colored picture.
i still charge 5.00 for b/w and 10.00 for colored text.
at least my 7 printers are all well taken of. while my other competitor is seen in inknovation fixing his printer

the worst problem a lanshop operator may experience is dirty competition. unending price warfare, equipment sabotage when your not “looking”, and possible hired mock holdups and gangster attacks.
we have em here in monumento.
everyday. all day. all the time. here in monumento, if you cant handle the competition, get away and find another place to stay.

i wish am one of those icafes who opened up 9 yrs ago. i couldnt imagine how many branches i may be able to put up and how many lives i can change.

5 yrs ago children here dont know what the term “lag” is they thought lag = freeze shutdown. those kids now are great chess players, know how to assemble and disassemble computers, reformat, some are graphic artist who knew coreldraw and photoshop by heart. and im proud of them.
